Passwords must change

    I have my blog set to require registration for a subscriber to post a comment.

    Some of them have received emails saying that it’s time for them to change their password. They go on and do that. Then they are locked out. The new password doesn’t work – and the old one doesn’t either.

    How can I fix this? Is there some way to remove that change password requirement?

    To be honest, I am not sure that this is a native function of WordPress? Has any user forwarded you one of these email reminders so you could verify they are from your site? Do you have a plugin that does this?

    I think they must have been talking about another website connected to ours – that one does require that the passwords change. I assume they were confused and sent the email to me by mistake.
