Using twentytwelve child. I’ve successfully reduced white space between header image and page title for static front page.

But the Home Page content area itself (the upper area of the front page below the page title and above the two first page widgets) has very large top margin or top padding, that is, too much unused white space. I tried inserting .entry-content padding-top modification = 5px in style.css, but did not work.

Note that this is only for Front Page – the rest of the blog pages do not have this big padding between the page title and the post.

Can anyone tell me how to reduce this white space? Thanks.
