Deleted Admin, Pages Gone!

I recently just deleted the main administrator to add a new one, and as a result, all the pages have disappeared. I know this has to do with the fact the the administrator that was deleted was the author of all those pages, but how do I get those pages back? I have backed up the database, so they should all be somewhere in the backup file, but how would I either restore the original admin, or transfer those pages to a new author? Need help!
