   This problem has appeared out of nowhere on an existing blog - I haven't upgraded or installed any new plugins recently. I've seen several similar threads, but no one that specifically addresses this issue.

   When I write a post, and click save or publish, the title and metadata is saved, but the content disappears.

   When a comment is left on the blog, the browser hangs on wp-comments-post.php and the comment is not saved.

   Also - and I'm not sure if these are related - when I log in, I am forwarded to %2Fwp-admin%2F instead of wp-admin, resulting in a 404 error. Removing the %2F's gets me to the dashboard.

   I repaired all my DB tables and re-installed 2.2.1, but this has not made any difference.

   All suggestions greatly appreciated

   Addendum: I can save posts by hitting "Save and continue editing" THEN saving/publishing, but not if I just save it.

   I discovered the problem. A while ago I edited my htaccess file for no-www - so that my domain at www.booktwo.org always redirected to http://booktwo.org.

   However, the options in WP were still set to www. Removing the www subdomain from the options fixed the problem.
