Unfortunately that seems to be an undocumented parameter in the GOOGLE SERP URL. WP SlimStat tries to sniff as many values as possible, but not all of them have been documented 🙁 If you find out, let us know.

The referrer URL was submitted stripped of anything but the search term, so it’s just http://www.google.com/search?q=<search term>. However, as far as I could find out with a quick search, “OG” is used as an abbreviation for “OpenGraph”, and there’s also <og:something> meta tags for that which apparently can be used by Facebook (I suppose it’s to do with their new Graph Search thing), and Google’s +1 button also seems to deal with them. So maybe it’s to do with that. But that’s just wildly guessing. I’m not a Web 2.0 programmer after all.

Thank you for the explanation… it makes sense indeed!
