   On my Wordpress:
   I have state and city PARENT categories.
   Examples: Arizona, Atlanta, etc. (When complete, I will have 25 such Parent categories.
   Under each are the names of several girls, each as a subcategory, Jackie, Jane, etc.
   When one selects the PARENT category, the subcategories (girls' names) show OK, and that is fine.
   However, I DO NOT want these subcategories to show on the home (about) page--only the parent categories. Otherwise I would wind up with Parent and subcategries miles long on the home (about) page.
   Can I fix it so that just the Parent categories show on the home (about) page. If so, how? Any help will be most sincerely appreciated.
