First let me tell you that I tryed my best not to post here… I’ve searched high and low and can’t get this issue resolved. I’ve also asked the question to WooCommerce and after serveral days have received no response. I submitted the question to the Responsive Theme forum, and have received no response to date. So… here we go.

    http://pcgdirect.net

I’m using the Responsive Theme and WooCommerce. They are functioning great with one exception. Some buttons are not readable in IE. This is especially troublesome when items are added to card. User’s can’t see the ‘proceed to checkout’ button. I believe this is a Responsive issue and not a WooCommerce issue… Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m thinking one fix is to just use a different theme. I REALLY don’t want to do that… is there a work-around?

  • I believe this is a Responsive issue and not a WooCommerce issue..

    What makes you think that?

What buttons have a problem and on which pages?

Do you have the same problem when using a default WP theme such as twentyeleven?

The issue is with basically all buttons. Of most concern is the button reading “Proceed To Checkout” when a visitor is viewing their cart and ready to checkout.

I do not have the problem with twentyeleven or twentytwelve.

    .
That pretty well means your theme is the problem.

Check if you have any markup errors through W3C’s validator http://validator.w3.org

It almost never happens, but I have to say it anyways. @kmessinger while I appreciate your help here, please don’t say what you don’t know.

@owenjsutton WooCommerce uses the same button classes as Responsive and you can disable them, take a look here: http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/codex/css-structure/ and they might be in conflict somewhere.

    Quick Update:

Just tried adding something to the cart and it doesn’t seem to be working, nothing gets added to your cart at all.

Also, please clean your cache and try disabling content caching plugin as well and see if that makes any difference 🙂

    Thanks,
    Emil

Emil, Emil, Emil, It almost never happens, but I have to say it anyways. Please try to logically explain why, if it works in the default theme and does not in the in the Responsive theme how it is not a theme issue? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck . . . Don’t get too techie as apparently, I sometimes say what I don’t know.

@owenjsutton Is this where you posted? http://wordpress.org/support/theme/responsive They (Emil)have a very good response record and just on the first page I saw some posts about menu problems. I would check there again.

And now it is cocktail time. I shall return tomorrow after first light.

Never happens for me to say what I said:

while I appreciate your help here, please don’t say what you don’t know.

And note that I know very well what I am saying 😉 at least when it comes to my Theme and 10hrs around the Theme on daily basis.

    Anyways, thanks!
    Emil

N.B. Answered here as well 🙂 and if is the same to you, can we please take the load off this forum and continue at ThemeID?

    Thanks,
    Emil
