about custom-header.php and trojans

    Hello
    Sophos just pointed out to me that I have a trojan aboard, it happened when I was about to get custom-header.php from a server (with Text Wrangler) after an error message while unsuccessfully trying to load my site.
    So I thought I’d ask; a) is this a known issue? and b) is it for some reason likely that Sophos was overreacting?

    The browser error message was:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in […]/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/inc/custom-header.php on line 150

    I’m a little green when it comes to web security, so I’d appreciate knowledgable input.
