    @underwatercolours,
    Sorry, but I cannot figure out why the problem occurs in your case. I first pasted out the exact shortcodes you provided and was able to get both of them running (for you to see I can add the shortcodes to the demo pages). I then postulated that it might be a conflict between your theme (Modest?) and Photonic, but even that wasn’t the case, as I was able to activate Modest and see the photos.

    What happens if you leave in the option to display a lightbox?

    @manishbajaj2087,
    Since your post is not related, can you please start your own thread?

    I changed the template to twenty twelve and turned on Colorbox and still no luck. I also tried the other options and it didn’t help.

    Last night I also tried using the SmugMug RSS feed and that would not display the thumbnails either. Could it possibly be a permissions issues? Maybe something related to storing the thumbnails?

    Weird, because when I try your first shortcode here, the photos show up without issues.

    So I’m guessing it might have something to do with the server it is hosted on. Are there any particular settings or server configurations I should be looking for? This particular site is hosted with Hostgator and I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary.

    No, the server should not cause any issues, because the plugin generates the markup and provides it to the browser – all photos stay stored on SmugMug. If the generated markup is fine and the photos are accessible, you should have no problem.

    Are you using any caching plugin? Or anything that either speeds up or defers the rendering of content?

    Thread Starter underwatercolours

    (@underwatercolours)

    Right now I have all other plugins turned off. I even tried setting up a brand new wordpress install with a default template and only this plugin, but still no luck. I’m using wordpress version 3.5.1. Does the version make any difference?

    Thread Starter underwatercolours

    (@underwatercolours)

    I was able to get some of the thumbnails to show up when with the same version of WordPress installed on my old server, but they are somewhat transparent. http://diveincolor.com/wordpress/test-page/

    The thumbnails didn’t show up on the wordpress site until I viewed them on the SmugMug site.

    I need to host the site on my new server. Any suggestions you can come up with would be greatly appreciated.

    For your old server the fix is easy. There is an opacity applied to all thumbnails via CSS, and you can simply make the thumbnails all fully opaque with a single line of CSS added to your stylesheet.

    Unfortunately I have no idea why things aren’t working on your new server. I am able to see the markup, but the images are simply not showing.

    The plugin is fully tested on WP 3.5.1, hence the WP version isn’t a problem.

    Now the thumbnails that did show up on the old server have also disappeared. I resized the page and they dropped off one at at time. Refresh does not bring them back.

    I really appreciate your help on this, but I’m dumbfounded as to why this is happening.

    I just went back to look at the code of the page you set up that did work and don’t see them there anymore either.

    I took them off the demo page, because I hadn’t got your permission to use them. I can put them back if you want to check something out.

    I’d like to see if I have the same problem after resizing the browser window and I’d like to look at the code to see if anything is different.
