• Hey guys,

First of all thanks for any help I’ll get from you in advance!

WordPress version: 3.5.1 (el) (official greek version of WordPress)
    WordPress SEO version: 1.3.4.4

I did this: I installed the SEO plugin (which by the way really appreciate for all its hard work put in there). The site I have is a custom template site, and every page in there has been developed by myself. So I have a static front-page (front-page.php), with no content in the visual editor itself, but on the file I’m using as the default template.

I expected the plugin to do this: Everything else works for me except the Focus Keyword analysis. And by not working I mean I expected from the plugin to pick up the content I have in the actual .php file I’m using as a static homepage rather than only the content in the editor.

Instead it did this: So instead of “seeing” the page’s content from the php file it will only recognise the content inside the visual editor. If I copy all the code I have in my front-page.php file in the editor the results change completely , as they should( although I do still have some issues, like although I do have some h2 tags in there it still gives me the message that there aren’t any?).

So I guess (after rumbling a bit) my issue here is about the plugin not being able to “see” the content in the actual code and being able to see the content in the visual editor only! (I’m guessing that this will happen with any custom coded template I use in my site like the about page , the contact page etc.)

Sorry for taking a bit more of your time than I expected and thanks in advance for any help I get.

    All the best, Themis.

I have this same issue as well.

Please let us know if the plugin is supposed to see the contents of front-page.php, and if it currently does not, please correct this in an update.
