  • Hey Definitio,

    It does require a bit memory so the recommended default is 256mb. However this is updated in the next version and handled internally so you don’t have to mess around with or update the settings…

    You can update to the latest version 0.4.2 which removes these options so you don’t have to mess with them… If you want to try that version here are the instructions:

    -> Browse to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicator/developers/
    -> Look for the section “Other Versions”
    -> Click on “Development Version” and download the zip plugin file
    -> Uninstall your current version and install this one

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you very much for your response. Duplicator is an awesome plugin both for taking backups and restoring from backups (equally important)…it rules the category in my view.

    If the plugin version is expected to have other changes implemented before being officially released, I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit.

    Thank you very much

    Hey Definitio,

    Thanks for the kind feedback! It might be awhile before it hits an official 1.0 still working on getting through all the various hosted setups and working with larger package sets…

    We definitely appreciate the feedback and updates…

    Cheers!

    Thank you again.

    Well I didn’t mean I’d wait until the official version is out, but rather the one that improves on the current one (0.4.1 > 0.4.2 or 0.5) implementing the changes you are referring to.

    I’ll just go ahead and install the development version. It’s not doing anything on the frontend anyway.

    Sounds good! Keeping the latest version usually keeps you with the most stable copy…
