    It’s working for me, look at the short code you’ve used, and make sure there are no space around the = sign.

    Or even [fbvinyl id=”448876188466232″], if that doesn’t work for you check out your phpinfo() function and see if you have cURL installed.

    PS: If you do, and it’s still not working.

    Please let me know the:
    WP Version,
    Server Type (apache tested only),
    OS & Browser version if the picker isn’t working

    I’m assuming with a low cost host, that it’s the cURL that’s not installed.

    I tried all the codes:

    and still not working.

    cURL support enabled
    cURL Information 7.15.5

    My version of wordpress is 3.5.1

    All of those codes have spaces.

    Did the plugin create a cache file?

    Something like this? Maybe check if the cache directory is writable (there is currently no error checking on that).

    The cache files are normal.
    On my server I have these files:

    Perhaps the wordpress version is not compatible with the plugin?

    It doesn’t like the data that’s coming back from the cache.

    Do the other pages you have the plugin on work?

    There can be errors if Facebook didn’t like something, maybe send me an email with those files ryan at flypaperagency.com (it’s just facebook graph data, and I can look at that to see what the error could be).

    It’s not really dependant on WP, there is only a couple WP hooks in the plugin and a short code.

    I have the same problem… I have already read all the similar posts…
    1. cURL is running
    2. Cache:

    I can only read “View on Facebook”.
    I’m working in local, I have tested wordpress 3.5.1 & 3.3.1, php 5.3.8
    I have tested similar plugins without positive results… I’m tired and I don’t have more ideas… have u got a good one?

    I haven’t gotten an email from anyone with issues including their cache files. I’m hoping that if they’re converted from the json formats given by Facebook I will see an error that can be solved.

    I haven’t run into problems, I typically use Site5, Dreamhost, Bluehost, and when it was first developed local on a mac, all with standard LAMP installs.

    When I write a new post using Facebook Vinyl: the plugin only generate EMPTY files with the names I gave you 🙁

    Im also get only “View on Facebook”.
    Please give me some advice,
    its trouble with my wordpress or FB disallow API for pictures?

    Sorry guys, I don’t know what’s happening here, but I just updated the core of the plugin to use WP_HTTP (WP’s built-in cURL like function), so maybe that will help. If not, you can have a full refund. 😉

    (Also still only tested on my servers)

    Also check the permissions and page settings. Make sure the FB page is a page (has likes not friends), and that you don’t have country restrictions on the images.

    For the blank files, I don’t think this is it… But for the other people.

    Now the plugin doesn’t create any report in /cache… I have only this information (view-source:)
