Reduce spacing between widgets in a sidebar?

I am using WordPress’s Twenty Twelve theme and am trying to configure a few things. One issue is that on certain pages, the content/widgets in the sidebar have too much space in between each other. They need to be more compact. Can anyone point me in the right direction to change this in my style.css? I am just beginning to use Firebug and can’t seem to locate what to change…
