Comments Stopped Working and Receiving Blank Emails

    I have a weird thing that started happening today.

    First, I updated the Sharebar and another plugin (can’t remember the name of the second because I’ve since deleted both in my troubleshooting attempts.)

    I added some Google Plus code to the header and function files.

    Now, after all that (so you think it would be related), comments have stopped working on my blog, http://www.makeupfiles.com/. When you try to comment on a post, it never shows up. Not on the page or in the comments section of admin. Not as spam. Then I receive the comment emails, but now they are blank. They look like this:

    New comment on your post "Nails of the Day: Subtle Adorableness"

    I looked up this problem on the boards and it appears that plenty of other people have had this problem over the last 5 years, and no one has ever found a solution. Hopefully today will be the day!

    Here are the steps I took to try to solve it:
    – Disabled Sharebar and the other plugin
    – Removed the Google Plus code I’d added earlier
    – Disabled all plugins
    – Deleted Sharebar and the other plugin, just in case
    – Changed my theme to Twenty Twelve and back

    None of that worked. I’m think that it might just be a fluke and that it has nothing to do with the changes I made earlier in the day. Any suggestions?
