XML Sitemap and Verify at Google webmaster tools

    Hi,

    My sitemap is working fine. I thrust the plugins magic to ping the sitemap to Google on every update. But does this work without verifying the website ownership with google webmasters tools?

    So basiscly, if I setup a brand new website on a brand new domain with WP en Yoast’s SEO plugin: Does google know the sites sitemap? Of do I need other actions?
