wpcu3erThe problem is that the thumbnail pics in the list of galleries are displayed outside of the little graphic frame that is supposed to surround them. They show up a little too low. Have a look at this on my actual site at http://vonreumont.com/till/fotos/ or a screenshot at http://vonreumont.com/till/downloads/NextGen-in-Sterling.png

I don’t know why its doing that but if you can’t resolve it and no-one can help you then you can try circumventing it by trying this css change.
.ngg-album-compactbox { height: 120px; }
.The current height is 86px – maybe thats in the gallery settings somewhere.
Thank you! This did it! In my WordPress backend I navigated to Gallery -> Style and edited your above suggestion into the appearing style file and now it works perfectly!
Thank you!
In order to allow NextGen Gallery’s Album and Gallery to work with the Sterling Theme, we have to disable some of Theme’s functions and Templates.
NextGen Gallery’s URL contains the word “gallery” which is the same as Sterling’s custom post type “gallery”….
This will cause an “internal” WordPress conflict.
