• Hello all, I’m new here and not too sure if this is the right place to post this, but I require some help with the subject.

Currently we’re using the Elastico theme, which has unfortunately been discontinued, and with it any support from the developer, which is why I hope some experts here will be able to help.

Expanding my site to multiple “authors”, I wanted to assign pre-existing custom portfolio posts to my new members/authors. Unfortunately the “Author” Column in the Portfolio Post Type isn’t added or visible(see image), so I’m unable to reassign authors to past posts.

I can provide code snippets and such if need be. Right now I’m thinking it’s a simple block of code that’s missing? I tried a few things over the weekend and failed miserably, which is why I’m asking for some assistance 🙂

    Thanks!

Ok so I managed to get the author column listed by simply adding

"author" => __( 'Author','si_theme' ), in the $columns array. Reason it bonked my site before was due to the fact I forgot the , after the line >_<.

That said I can now see the author… but now I don’t have the dropdown list available like this I have no clue where to enable this. Help please! 🙂

Any help would be greatly appreciated. At this point I just need the “Author” dropdown to appear either in Quick Edit or the edit post page. This is a custom post type btw. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be equally great. Really need some help here.

    Thanks
