Is this something you can implement in Easy Fancybox?

That’s facnyBox2 which has some new features. Easy FancyBox currently uses FancyBox 1.3.4 but you can do it manually like on this sample page http://demo.status301.net/easy-fancybox-sandbox/like-my-box/ … read the instructions below that first image…

This will take too much time for every picture.
Do you plan to upgrade EF with latest fancybox version and have a like button implemented?

Yes, that is planned for a future release. But not very soon as I am very busy…
