   I cant seem to find this but I want something where I can have a loop that posts all the blog categories in a list and with the number of posts in that category.

   ex
   Category (30)
   Misc (10)
   Site Info (12)

   something like that. I am looking for the php code for it or something that I could work with because I am not very good at php.

   You are looking for wp_list_categories.
