How to Delete old database

    I am trying to install all new blogs with 2.2.1 and want to delete the old table. I get a message:

    “You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

    How do i clear old database.

    phpMyadmin: select all the tables and “Drop”. This will keep the database itself (which you need anyway) but will delete all the selected tables.

    I’m Using Host Zymic and I faced the same problem … can anyone tell me which tables I must drop to reinstall wp ?
    When I can’t drop them because of the error :Error: Access denied for user ‘…’ to database ‘information_schema’

    You’ll probrably need to contact your host and ask them to drop the required tables for you. Or, find a host that isn’t pants like 1&1.
