Help to set picture on my index.

I try to set a picture my index blog (like I did for my .COM: http://blog-costa-rica-discount.com/). I try to organize my .ORG the same way. One text and one picture on my index. Simple presentation. How can I do?. Anytime I try to set the picture, only the tittle appear and not the whole pic. Any idea?
