AAM 1.6.8.3 does work with WP 3.5.1, but with 1 minor hiccup: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/unauthorized-action-when-go-to-next-page-in-all-posts
Temporary solution: set the posts-per-page to 999 (or higher).

AAM has been having conflicts with various plugins I use and the WP interface. I tried to rule out that AAM was having so many conflicts (hoping it was the other plugins), but my tests kept coming back to AAM as the culprit.
My suggestion (which I have done) is to stop using AAM, and instead use “User Role Editor” (free) along with “Admin Menu Editor Pro” (paid). I’ve had great success with these 2 plugins, and all the conflicts I had before have gone away.
It’s a shame that AAM isn’t better managed. I think the author is less concerned with this plugin than he was in the past. Maybe the paid version of AAM works just fine? I haven’t tried it. AAM was amazing, but, sadly, I had to say “goodbye”.

Yeap, you are absolutely right. It’s a shame that I stopped any kind of support for couple months. My bad.
But slowly I’m coming back to it. At least I’ll try to fix issues one by one and make the plugin lighter.
It’s not a simple task to include a lot of features in one plugin and do not break others. There is no single approach to develop plugins for WP and actually there are no standards for it also.
One more thing. Paid version does not solve any issues. It just extends some limitations.
In any case, I do appreciate your feedback. At least somebody kept the conversation here alive 🙂

@vasyl – That’s why I really liked this plugin, it did the job of 2 plugins!
Many plugins have conflicts, not just AAM. That’s the risk we take when we use plugins from WP’s repository. Thankfully, many plugin authors, like you, are willing to “fix” issues with their plugins.
