Sidebar color change

    Hi ther im new to wordpress hello all!
    I was wondering if you can tell me how to
    change the color for the sidebar on the wordpress
    original theme blue and white one. Im in the html
    style part right now and im looking at the sidebar
    but im just not sure wich one to change..

    thanks for any help

    all color changes should be in the style.css file. look for six digit numbers. those are hex codes. a quick look on google for hex codes will give you all the values you need.

    Yea but what do i change in the style css code? i no what a hex code is im just wondering what i change it under

    That depends on what colors you want to change… background, text, links, hovers. Just backup your style.css and start experimenting with the colors in there… learning by doing always served me well :).

    Well i did that i want to change out the backround i tried every hex code on the css style. Is it even possible to change out the backround side bar color? its grey right now i just want to make it a darker gery its the originol worpress blue and white theme

    No, you cannot change it in the default theme. It is an image. Pick a normal theme.
