feature request: integrate with custom taxonomies, categories, widgets, etc

    Hi,

    Thanks for this great plugin, again.

    Couple of feature requests/suggestions:

    1) would it be possible to extend it to present ‘capabilities’ options/drop down selectors on

    a) admin, posts, category, edit category screens, also

    b) on any screen showing edit screens for custom categories – (as many plugins uses them for content). this feature would make the plugin truly amazing.

    otherwise i’ll have to code it up/hack it in myself somehow.

    2) would it be possible to have it render ‘capabilities’ drop down selectors agsainst :

    a) edit/select theme screens,

    b) edit/select (active) plugin screens

    b) edit/select (active) sidebar widgets screens

    – that way it will become possible to implement capabilities on eg: members of groups being able to see output from particular plugins, have particular widgets available, etc.

    note: the plygin s2members framework pretty much approaches these things (via its hook/filter api set, etc) – but your plugin is more straight forward/better aliogned with wp core i think.

    again, things i’ll ultimately need to code up myself otherwise.

    eratta: oops: ‘custom categories’ refered to above should reaad ‘custom taxonomies’ and ‘terms’, obviously.

    Many thanks for the suggestions, part of these have already been implemented by others but I haven’t had a chance to incorporate these into the code. I’d be very happy to set up a repository on GitHub for the plugin to facilitate this kind of contributions. Would you be interested in that?
