[Plugin Import from csv] Integrate with sb welcome editor plugin

    Hi to all,

    i’m gabriele from italy. I’d like to integrate import from csv plugin with
    sb welcome editor.
    When csv import send the nnotification mail with password nag and new mail i’d liketo to integrate the standard mail created with sb welcome editor and the two fileds password nag and name from import csv…

    Is it possbile?

    I’m not familiar with these plugins, so I could be wrong, but this is probably possible, but likely not practical. Unlike the WP core, plugin developers often do not provide hooks for extending and modifying their functionality. Thus the only way to do something like what you want is to directly hack the plugin files. I consider such modifications as a “dirty” hack because your modifications will be lost anytime the plugin is updated.

    We should strive for clean hacks that persist through update cycles. In my experience, this is usually only possible when hacking the WP core, not with most plugins. But as I said, I’m not familiar with these particular plugins.
