Support » Plugin: dSero AdBooster » Dsero- Nice idea but not for me

  • I like the idea of this in a way. As a publisher it is worrying that you source of income can be blocked while users use up costly bandwidth. I decided after trying this plugin that it wasn’t for me however. The reasons were:

    1) People that are blocking ads seem very unlikely to click on one so the click through rate will be very low. It could also antagonise these users who may well have otherwise promoted my site using social media.

    2) Dsero lack transparency in how they operate. There is no indication of what share of the profits from advertising revenue I will get or they will take. No terms or conditions are agreed when setting it up.

    Hi elhashbrown,

We are very sorry to hear your impression,

We make our best to provide the best service and be as transparent as we can.

    Regarding the issues your raised:
    1. According to our analytics, AdBlock users really do not like ads, and do not tend to purchase through them. However, many of them do love the blogs they read and look for ways to support them. We found out our “Calls to Action” is one of the favorite ways of these users to support their loved bloggers. We actually don’t serve ads, and don’t make users purchase things they did not intend to.

    2. dSero provides publishers and bloggers with most of the support revenue (about 70% of it). We update the support revenue daily and provide analytics details 24×7.

Please feel free to contact us regarding any further question.

I hope to see you again among dSero users,

    Best Regards,
    Moshe Kaplan
