adding image dont work ad visual editor dont work

    After an upgrade to WP 3.5 from the 3.4.2 version i could not add images nor switch to visual editor.

    Deactivated all plugins, re-set the theme, redid all folders and files to 755 permissions. cleared all the caches. including the phpadmin

    Still cant add picture to post neither as upload or from media library nor from external url.

    I also noticed that i can not switch between text and visual tab in the post edit mode.

    After more testing including updating the WP in the manual way i still could not include images in the posts nor switch to visual editor.

    As it was not possible to switch between Visual Editor to text editor. By default it would show only the Text editor. I then disabled the visual editor in the USER settings. When i do that I can finally add an image from my media panel. The link and formatting is done correctly.

    I then tried to re-activate the visual editor in the user panel but then the same issue comes back..

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
