Product category widget/sorting

    Hi,

    I am trying to find a widget or extension that let me sort the different categories for each sidebar. I am setting up a “mall” with different stores, so I want only the product category for given store to be displayed on a page, including latest added, popular etc in THAT category.

    Way too complicated?

    you can sort categories by dragging them around under products>categories in the dashboard – that sets the menu_order, which is the order they’ll be displayed in on just about any widget.

    But if I want to display latest products in a sidebare from a jewerly category on one page, and then a handbag category in the sidebar of another page?

    I just want products from one category listed in a widget. Or maybe I can just use the shortcode, in a text widget?

    I am not smart. 😉
