Posts not showing up anywhere

I am very very new to WordPress and am still learning a great deal. That said, I have spent hours trying to figure out why my posts are not showing up anywhere. I am using this theme http://www.dessign.net/grid-theme-responsive/ and from what I understand the photos in the grid are posts. I try to post anything and it does not show up on my home page or any category page I have also set up when I correspond the post to a category. When I publish a post and I click view post, it directs me to the post, but I can’t figure out where it is located in my site. My site is http://allyanndesign.com.

I’m so confused and frustrated.
