• Folks…

I opted for an image list on pages instead of the slideshow.

When the image list appears, there is a link to convert it to a slideshow. That is OK, except clicking on that link takes the visitor to the top of the page, and they have to scroll down the page to get back to the now slideshow. If that same visitor clicks the link that now appears for an image list, again, they are taken to the top of the page and have to scroll back down.

I have had one person tell me that they left the page as they couldn’t be bothered scrolling back down.

This has been a problem since I started using NextGEN, and remains a problem regardless of what plugin is installed along with NextGEN.

The plugin is current as is the theme and Genesis.

I’d like to be able to select either the image list or the slideshow and not have the plugin offer the alternative, and regardless of that, if the link is clicked, I’d sure appreciate it if the visitor stayed right there on the page instead of being taken to the top of the page.

Any help would be much appreciate.

    Thanks,

    Bill

  • I was bugged by this as well. Turns out there is a simple fix:

Under Gallery / Options / Gallery

    Uncheck “Integrate slideshow”

The annoying links go away and you’re left with just an image list.

I have this issue as well

On post / page edit, clicking the NextGen button in the visual editor, choosing a gallery, choosing ‘image list’ – getting a slideshow.

fahnoes fix doesn’t work for me.
