Hi Jen,
We made an add-on for the plugin specifically for this. =)
You can download it here: http://plugins.inboundnow.com/downloads/use-landing-page-as-homepage/
Install it just like any other plugin and then you will be able to set your landing page as your homepage.
This would be great except the link you sent seems to be broken.

I’ve tried several times to download it.
Is there a way to add it from “add plugins” in the backend of my site?
Thanks!
Woops! Fixed the broken link.

Thanks for the heads up.
There is currently no way to install add-ons from the interface.

Hi David,
I cannot install the plugin.
I am installing it as I would other plugins but I get the following error message:
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Help?
Hey Amanda.
We made a change late last night to all extensions.
Can you redownload the latest version of “Use Landing Page As Homepage” and try installing again?
Also make sure you have the latest version of landing pages 1.0.3.5 installed before doing this.
(I use tested this and it worked for me).
Sorry for the hoops, it was a big upgrade that will help stuff like this not happen in the future.

Hi Amanda,
I believe this error message involves an older version of the extension and how it was formatted before it was uploaded to our server.
Redownloading the extension and using the new zip to install should solve the problem.
Also if you have picked up any other extensions before today would you redownload and reupload those as well?

Hi guys. Thank you for the quick reply.
I actually just downloaded the plugin and add-ons today, although for the add on I referred to the link that David posted above.
I started getting
I am trying to reinstall the plugin but it is giving me a 500 Internal Server error. 🙁
Too bad. It is hard to find a free Landing Page plugin.
Ours will soon become the staple of the community/industry, we are only two weeks old live though and still have a ways to go. We do not intend to let up though.
Amanda I would be happy to test onsite util everything is 100% operational for you.
I believe this topic might be related to the 500 error:

I’m not sure why the upload would work for me cleanly and not for you. The two issues may be related.
If after reading the thread link above you are still have troubles here is the link for quick onsite-fixes:

Hi,
I am trying and trying to re-purchase the landing-page-as-homepage plugin (the newest version since I could not install the first one earlier this week) and nothing happens each time I click on the “purchase” button.
Is there a secret password?
Thanks,
Coco
Hi Hudson – have just got your plugins and have installed the plugin and set the static page to reading then but it’s not working for me
http://www.productagious.com/ this is not the homepage I want lol – want to use one of your sweet landing pages
Can you help?
Yes it does.
After you install the add-on you can set your landing page as your homepage.
Thanks for using and supporting the plugin!
Let me know if you have any other questions
