Active Directory integration for USER ROLES?

    Hello,

    I am fairly new to wordpress and this plugin seems to be awesome. As we speak, I am building are Corporate

    intranet site. I am struggling to find a good plugin that suits all of are needs. I do have a budget and willing

    to pay to make this plugin enhance if necessary!

    Since i am building a CORPORATE intranet site, my main concerns is the fact that I am wondering if we can

    have any Active Directory integration for USER ROLES?

    Needs in point form:

    a) Trainers has the rights to create a new EVENTS for courses. ( Based on Active Directory Groups )
    b) Trainers has the ability to show a MAXIMUM of seats available.
    c) Once maximum seats reached, close the registration!
    c) Employees has to REGISTER to the course. ( Based on Active Directory Groups )

    Nice to have: It would be nice to show who attends to the course! I am shure this would help to motivate

    co-workers.

    Hey rdesormiers, thanks for your note and for the interest in the plugin. At this point you’d probably need to find a third-party plugin to integrate with any custom user roles, though that may change for the 3.0 release we’re launching over the next couple months.

    Regarding seat availability and registration: those are doable with The Events Calendar, but must also use one of our registration add-ons. At this point we’ve got one for selling tickets / RSVPs through WooCommerce (http://tri.be/wordpress-wootickets/), and another that handles it through Eventbrite.com (http://tri.be/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/).
