Plugins "Disquss" & Facebook comments question

I have a fb login and like box in sidebar. i pluged disquss comments for all posts. Now i’m having a problem with the facebook like box and login. they do not appear on my windows 7 desktop (they used too when i first installed both)but they work on my daughter’s windows 8 laptop. i was not sure if there is a problem between facebook and disquss in the way i have them set up. i did read online there were problems using both sets as comments but noting on the way mine is set up. i have the same version of chrome and firefox installed on both computers. Please help
