I’m kind of freaking out because the google results for two of my sites are showing ads for erectile disfunction. They are sites that I created for some clients and they are freaking out as well. :/

I used your awesome tool (-Thank you!!!) to scan the site and it didn’t have any auto-fixes. It just showed suspected files. I went through and removed all of the code line by line and kept going back to the site to insure that it still worked.

Upon completing the process I scanned the site and it’s still popping out links for everything from the pills to cleaning up your credit.

Any idea what I can do to fix it? This is all a little over my head.

    Here’s the sites:
    livingyogacenter.net
    raybif.com

(I’ve only tried it on raybif so far because it’s receives a lot less traffic. I figured I’d do the yoga site after I successfully fixing raybif)

I would not suggest removing anything manually unless you know what it does. My plugin only removes code that I have defined as a “Known Threat”. The “Potential Threats” are a good place to start looking if my plugin cannot find anything to remove.

Every infection is different and the malicious code keeps evalving and changing so there is no “one right way” to deal with it.

The best way I can help you is if you are willing to let me into your WP Admin. Then I can see what is coming up in the scans, run some custom scans, remove what needs to be removed, and even update my definitions of Known Threats so that they can be removed automatically.

If you would like my help in this way you can send your admin credentials to: registrations at gotmls dot net

Thanks for fixing up my site for me, Eli! You’re awesome.

It’s always nice when someone not only makes a great plugin but also provides top notch support for it!!
