Rss Error

    I’m having issues with My Rss. I have deactivated each plugin one by one and brought them back the same. I have re installed my them. The developer is telling me I need to do a whole bunch of other things outside the scope of my knowledge for wordpress.

    In Safari my feed looks ok…In Chrome I get this error.
    This page contains the following errors:

    error on line 263 at column 145: Extra content at the end of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    PLEASE If anyone is smarter than the developer that refuses to fix the issue can help me figure out in English what I can do. I would appreciate it.

    You may have tried this but just in case:

    Try deactivating all of your plugins and switch to the Twenty Eleven theme. Then clear your browser cache and check your RSS feed.

    If the feed it fixed then reactivate your plugins one at a time, test the RSS feed, one more plugin, test RSS feed, etc. until the error returns. Do not switch back to that theme.

    If all the plugins do get reactivated and it really is the theme…

    I’m not sure what he’s telling you but if it’s the theme that’s causing it you’ll need to work with him to resolve it. We don’t support commercial themes here.

    I did exactly what you said and after switching back to the theme the issues came back. I’m guessing it’s the teme.

    Also Chrome does not have an rss reader. That is why you see code. Google wants folks to use the Google reader.

    Can I use google reader along side yoast? I just want the rss to work to push out to tumblr and twitter feed.

    Have no idea, sorry. Your feed looks fine in FF but is very slow loading.
