Hidden Field not working

    Reposting on another post that isn’t marked resolved! 🙂

    The hidden fields still aren’t working for me. I’ve got the latest version of both plugins, I’m running WordPress 3.4.2.

    Here’s what’s in the form:

    [hidden campaign “post_url”]

    Here’s what’s in the Message Body for the email:

    campaign: [campaign]

    I’ve also tried “campaign: [post_url]” as well.

    What shows up in the email is only:

    campaign: post_url

    Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

    Use the generated code instead of renaming it to “campaign”.

    [hidden hidden-939 "post_url"] not [hidden campaign "post_url"]

    Or what might work is [hidden hidden-campaign "post_url"]…

    I’d recommend using [hidden hidden-939 "post_url"] in the form, then Campaign: [hidden-939] in your email.

    Hallo where can I find a tutorial on how to use hidden links? I have not at all understood how to use them .. any detailed step by step info for newbies is more than welcome. I tried to do what instructions say but nothing appears, so I presume it is me doing something wrong or misunderstanding the purpose of the hidden link thing… thanks

    @saphira1969 A quick tip to help you get started. Just ensure that all your hidden fields ALWAYS have the prefix “hidden-“. That should solve 95% of the issues you may have with the documentation.

    @gayatri.sa it has the prefix I just do not know how to use the field… do you have a step by step guide and tutorial for the hidden fields usage? to be clear I would like the hidden field to be showing once the visitor has filled in the form successfully… is it the way it is supposed to work? I thought so… thanks
