error after installing theme Architectos

    Hi, I’m getting the following error when trying to get onto my site or logging onto WP:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in D:\www\wholesomeself.com\www\wp-content\themes\architectos\wpbakery\admin-init.php on line 163

    I installed a new theme (architectos from theme forest) and getting error since then. my hosting says it’s probably because my WP was out of date (not sure which version I have but before 3.4 apparently). How do I update to the latest WP version if I can’t get into WP?
    Also got the advice to remove theme from ftp but not sure how to do this. I did install Cyberduck (have a mac) but get this message when trying to open file: error I/O connection failed

    Help please!

    I could not find that theme in the WP free theme directory.

    Is it a commercial theme? If so, contact the theme vendor for support.
