• Hello everyone.

I am developing an internet website for my class, which must be finished withing a few hours.
I am using an outdated version of WP, because we were told not to update the version the future website was created with. I can’t find what exact version it is, but it’s still quite recent.

My issue is simple: I can’t access the custom-header page (appearance/headers, or sthg like that, i’m using the website in French). I am told that I don’t own the permission to do so. I’ve tried to install several extensions, but none of them work.

Do you have any piece of advice to give me?

    Thank you very much.

  • Under users, is your role set as an administrator? Subscribers or editors, etc. may not be able to see all options in the WordPress admin screen.

Yes I am the administrator of the website.

In a addition I am using a theme that is supposed to allow custom headers.
I also don’t succeed in writing hyperlink (when I write in a post, nothing appears once the post is published). The two issues might be connected together.

Otherwise I’ve managed to do everything I wanted (no problems for backgrounds for instance
