    Okay, this is informational for anyone that may have a similar problem. I’m using the pluggin Menubar which works great, except with Internet Explorer(surprise!). Only in IE does the dropdown menus hide behind the page banner/slider (Dropdown menus at top of page, banner immediately below, http://www.piccexcellence.com). This is being caused by IE’s Compatibility View being switched on. Turning it off fixes the problem, however it’s difficult to walk the end user through this assuming they stick around to find out how. I googled the fix and found that by adding the following meta tag to the header will switch off compatibility view as the site is loaded.

    <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=9; IE=8; IE=7; IE=EDGE” />

    Hope this helps anyone else having this problem, worked for our site.

    George
