When Jquery Vertical Scroller is enabled, it works great in my left column as a widget.

However, it seems to also overtake the body of my static pages outside the widget. It replaces the body with the most recent post from the widget.

I gave the posts I wanted scrolled “News” categories and put that in the widget settings. I changed the type to post.

I am using the Academica theme from WPZoom and maybe it is hiding out in there but it seems like somehow at the end of the widget I need it to stop posting the recent posts. This also happens if I pic a page to be the front static page.

    http://www.mulderconsultants.com/nwcoop/?page_id=59 is the problem page.

I apologize. I had the categories in there wrong. I updated IDs to the numeric value and everything now shows up properly as far as 2 scrollers goes. I still have the issue as far as the last post in the left scroller showing up as the body text.

    Thanks!

    Hi
For your second instance, did you use itin a page or a widget area? If you are trying to use it on a page, version 1.4 will start allowing you to do that. We are currently testing it. Should be out in a couple of days.

Let me test it with your themeand see what the problem is.

    Hi –
I looked at the site again and am not sure what the problem is? Can I get access to the site so I can see the code and layout? If that is OK, please email me at vamsi [at] sirisgraphics [dot] com and I will take a look at it. Not sure where the information is coming from.

Also none of the other links on the site are working.

    Hi
Thank your for giving access to your site and letting me take a look at it.

As I mentioned in my email, the issue is being caused due to the way the theme developer implemented the left sidebar. There is a delay between the time the page content is grabbed by the code and it is rendered to the page. In the meantime, since my plugin is pulling new post content, the original post(page) content in memory is getting over-written.

I have emailed you the updated theme file so you can by pass the problem but you will have to fix the css for the new layout yourself. Also, please be careful when changing the code. It may cause unforeseen results.

I would also suggest you contact the theme developer. They may be able to change the layout of the code in a way that the defect goes away.

Hope I was able to help!!!

Your code worked fantastically, thank you so much! I will let the author know and give them the new code with your permission so they may compare it to see if they want to update it.

    Hi
I have your plugin installed and works in the sidebar as widget
It works fine but the “read more” button shows the link of the page where i am and not the link of the post that it is displayed in the widget
So i can not “read more” or see the page of the post

How can i solve this? NeedHELP!
    Thanks
