Conditional Style Sheet IE 9 and older

    I have some formatting errors with IE 9 and older on my website (http://behindthethrills.com). I’d like to correct them. I’ve been doing some reading and I need to create a conditional stylesheet.

    I’ve created one, but could someone point me in the right direction of where I should start with this? My sidebar is at the bottom of the page. I’d just like to align it to the left where it should be.

    I’m sorry but it is beyond the scope of these forums to deal with general CSS issues. Try a dedicated CSS resource such as http://www.css-discuss.org/ instead. In the meantime, using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

    Thanks. I use Chrome and I have FireBug there. I just wasn’t sure where to start. The page appears in all other browsers fine, including IE 10 (just not older versions for whatever reason).

    You ought to start by validating to W3C standards the webpage(s) you want browser-compatible. If you require further support, try that CSS-specific support forum suggested by Esmi.

    My sidebar is at the bottom of the page. I’d just like to align it to the left where it should be.

    I have similar problems within my Twenty Twelve Child Theme, and I plan to soon begin looking at its IE-specific style sheet…and you also might find something useful there.
