[Plugin – E-Commerce Gold Cart] Search Issues

So I recently upgraded to gold cart, and was disappointed to see that the the product search was not working correctly. The “Live Search” appears to be working just fine, but when the user simply clicks enter after typing in a string, instead of selecting one of the drop down items from the live search, the user is redirected to this link:

Which appears on the screen as my home page, but with some missing graphics… I have seen subjects on this issue before, but never a FIX. Are there any hacks out there that could resolve this problem?
