1. Re-upload a fresh copy of your theme using FTP.
2. Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
3. Let’s see if (1) & (2) help with this.
ok so I should just delete the theme right now in the ftp and re-upload? that’s safe to do?
Yes – it should be. If you’ve customised the theme in any way, you could try just renaming its folder inside wpp-content/themes before re-uploading a new copy. That would preserve the old copy for future reference.
ok i just did all of that and still it’s the same!
how can i see if the problem is because my wordpress files are in the blitzbeats.com/global folder and maybe wordpress is looking for the files in the root folder of blitzbeats.com/
Can you access your database? If so, try looking in the wp_options table for the home_url value and let us know what that value is.
the re-direct loop is stopping me from accessing the dashboard
I fixed it by uploading the wordpress files onto my root folder
but now all of my image files that were previously accessible are not showing up?
here is a example:
http://www.blitzbeats.com/global/wp-content/themes/shopperpress/thumbs/slogan-shadow.png
this file exists on my server – i can see it now but the file wont load up
What is the home_url value?
