Embedded audio/video languge- either turned to shortcode or stripped completely

Hi.

My site birdistheworm.com is having some serious problems with embedded audio & video players within a post.

Youtube videos are being turned to shortcode, which drastically changes the formatting I originally set up.

Vimeo videos are being ignored altogether.

Soundcloud audio embeds are getting stripped from my post altogether. When the system auto-posts a scheduled article with a Soundcloud player, it not only strips the code from the post, but it doesn’t let the post go live on my site at all (even though the post has a status of Posted). If I manually post the article, the soundcloud player code remains in the post, but the player simply doesn’t show… a blank space appears where the embedded player should be.

I don’t know if this is the result of the recent WordPress update or if this is a problem with Jetpack, but as I’m a music site that frequently embeds audio and video players, this is a huge problem for me.

I’m not seeing anyone else report a similar problem in the forums. I’m hoping that somebody here has some insight.
