nothing happens by roles or by users

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried restricting categories by roles and by users. It’s not working for any past users that I had or any new users that I’ve made. I’ve disabled other plugins and updated wordpress and nothing as worked so far.

I’ve tried changing around themese also and disabling custom menus so that I’m only using basic categories and every category can still be seen by everyone.

This would be a really great plugin if I could get it to work. Please help! 🙂
