Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_image_editor()

I’m getting the following error after installing and testing this plugin for the first time today:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_image_editor() in C:\html\wp-content\plugins\wp-retina-2x\wr2x_vt_resize.php on line 19

This seems like a really cool plugin, and I’ll take a look at the source code myself, too. Just wanted to call this out in case you can fix it before I can.
