Google snippets only working on posts, not pages

    Does anyone have an idea what about this does not work?

    I made a text widget with the following code in it:
    [ratings]

    This calls the rating stars on the front page and it´s working fine on all posts and pages.

    When I check it on the google snippet preview tool then the star ratings are only visible in the google view for posts. Not for pages, even though the counting works fine for those.

    I use a twentyeleven child theme in the sidebar page template.

    Anyone else having that problem and knows how to fix it?

    Just read this appears to be normal. Included the ratings into the single post template instead.

    Is there any possibility to “activate” review displaying in google for wordpress pages, too?

    For pages this is all this plugin is about, I think you might want to check it out (link above). It does work well on pages. Test with the Google Rich Snippet Testing Tool, just (haha) GOOGLE it 😉

    No I mean for POSTS, sorry… It´s for POSTS ONLY.
