Customizing Excerpt for Pages in Minimatica

Hello,

I am currently using the Minimatica theme and I love it! I am current in the process of trying to customize Excerpts for one of my pages on my site. I am currently using the Advanced Excerpt Plugin in and the Ninja Pages, Categories, and Tags Plugin to no luck.
Any suggestions any one?

To customize the excerpts there is an option in wordpress. In your edit post page check the ‘excerpt’ field option in ‘screen options’ at the top right of edit page. Then you’ll have a field for excerpt just below the visual/text editor. Whatever you add there will appear as excerpt.
And may be the plugin’s are also doing same.

So there is no way to read more button on a page?

And also I think I might have accidentally deleted my blog page/category is there a way to get it back?

There will be a read more placed after the excerpt automatically. If you have deleted anything from the wordpress admin then you’ll find it in the trash section for pages and posts. you can just undo trash. Don’t know if it works for the category.

Thank You. I figured out another way. Just go on to appearance -> theme options and you decide what type of page view you want to see.

Do you a way to customize the sidebar?
I’m trying to make the list items a different color than light blue.
