Hi, We have a brand new Wordpress install - 2.2.1, and I just downloaded the latest version of the plugin - 1.1.5.
(FYI: In the Plugin management screen, it is listed as "Post Notification Mailfix". That was a bit odd.)
After activating, there is no visible change in the admin screens - no management tab under Manage.

The package contains two plugins. Post Notification _and_ Post Notification Mailfix. The later is for fixing a bug in Wordpress > 2.2. Using WP 2.2 and HTML-Mails you have to activate both of them or use a other Mailingplugin (ie smtp-plugin).
