Multiple languages / set-up

    Dear WP Professionals,

    I have decided to create a new website (not just a blog) using WP 3.5. One of the fundamental issues I am currently facing is how to structure the site for two languages. The content will not be identical, i.e. the structure of the English site may differ from that of the German site. However, I would like to be able to switch between the two languages (e.g. using an EN and DE link somewhere on the page)

    Should I use separate subdomains or is there a suitable theme or plug-in for this kind of structure?

    Any suggestions welcome…
